Ellie did her Art Foundation at the Winchester School of Art in 2001 where she realised her love for textiles and went on to St. Martin's college of Art and Design to complete a BA in Textile Design, specialising in woven textiles.
She followed this with an MA in Design for Textile Futures, also at St. Martin's, returning to Winchester in 2006 to set up her own studio.

At one end of the spectrum Ellie's work reflects her love of kitsch, glitz and vibrant colours, but her range of soft and subtle shades and textures is evidence of her sensitivity to tone, mood and of her versatility.
